Imagine a world in which businessmen, students, demonstrators, public accountants, doctors, lawyers, ministers, drug dealers, neighbors, your closest friends and even your spouse may be infiltrators onto the general populace–agents of the government.

Well imagine no more. We now live in that world, as over 40 U.S. governmental agencies are doing just that, says a new report admitting the attacks of 9/11 were clearly the catalyst to heightened “undercover operations” in America.

“At convenience stores, for example, undercover agents, sometimes using actual minors as decoys, look for illegal alcohol and cigarette sales, records show. At the Education Department, undercover agents of the Office of Inspector General infiltrate federally funded education programs looking for financial fraud, Medicare investigators sometimes pose as patients to gather evidence against health care providers. Officers at the Small Business Administration, NASA and the Smithsonian do undercover work as well, records show.”, reports Erick Lichtblau and William M. Arkin.

One can only imagine where this is all headed.

Much like the term “Prison Planet”, coined by radio talk show host Alex Jones, we, sometime in the not so distance future, may be confined to 8′ x 8′ compartments as depicted in various films from Hollywood.

While most, if not all, governmental agencies have failed to disclose their total number of undercover agents, it’s estimated that the number may be “well into the thousands”. In fact the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spends “$100 million” per year on “undercover operations”. Quite the hefty budget for sure. However, expanding on that, other agencies such as the F.B. I. may be doing the same, likely carrying the costs into the 100′s of millions yearly.

Furthermore it has also been revealed that the F.B.I. has gone as far as to create a defendant in an attempt to “catch” a Philadelphia judge “suspected of corruption”. Shockingly, the “fake 40-year-old defendant was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, a felony. He told officers that he did not know his address and had no phone. He told probation officers he was from Louisville, Kentucky, and gave a Social Security number that appeared to have been issued in Texas in 1988. His black SUV had Virginia plates.”, reports the New York Post, showing the depth of the F.B.I.’s operational scope and the agencies blatant disregard for civil rights.
