UNIVERSE

The universe, galaxies, solar systems and planets do what they do: Worlds collide; planets explode; solar systems evaporate and galaxies disintegrate. Whether there is a mind and will behind it all has yet to be discovered. In the meantime, humanity must deal with what IS, has to deal with what is known.

EARTH

The nature of earth, its life and death cycles, the living feeding off of the living and new life emerging from the remains of the decaying dead is our reality on earth, our home for perhaps eighty years.

MAN

The nature of man, from loving to hating, makes human life what it is.

BELIEFS

Many people think and believe they know the truth, believe the stories they have been told and the stories they tell themselves about creation, about god and gods and goddesses or the absence of them and thereby create realities and world views and perspectives for themselves and their children which bears the fruit we eat each day.

CONCERNS

Most of our concerns are personal and at a local level. If things don’t impact us personally or affect our local environment we dismiss it after perhaps a brief, “Oh ... that’s too bad; that’s awful; poor folks...Hey Martha, what’s for lunch?” And so we can accurately say that until broader events actually affect our survival, lifestyle or comfort and leisure, “It didn’t happen to us and is therefore of little consequence.” So the vast majority of humanity lives in a local, somewhat happy, bubble, and until it pops, they are unaware, and thereafter, unknowing of the cause that was in the making (but is known by the few whose interests included life beyond “Which video do you want to watch tonight?). “SURPRISE!”

IGNORANCE

Today, one tends to think that everyone knows what is going on and the reasons for it considering the amount and speed of information transiting the globe, but that is not true, for most folks either ignore it or do not tune into it, and thus haven’t clue about the train wreck that is on the way, and if you tell them about it you are considered a crazy wacky conspiracy nut job idiot crackpot fear mongering stupid person.

GOOD ADVICE

The wise prepare. The ignorant perish. “A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. A prudent man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself, but the simple pass by and are punished. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. And, remember, take enough food for your family and for all the animals.

Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise! Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.”
