Vladimir Devide Haiku Award 2012 announced by Akito Arima goes to Anthony Kudryavitsky Ireland and Tomislav Maretić Croatia

The Second Vladimir Devide Haiku Award was announced by Akito Arima, formerly Japanese Minister of both Science and Education, and president of the University of Tokyo, and current president of the Haiku International Association. The award was made as part of the third Asian Conference on Arts and Humanities (ACAH 2012), and the Second Asian Conference on Literature and Librarianship (LibrAsia 2012). Dr Arima announced the award after his keynote speech: Symmetry, Art and Nature, the full text of which will be available on the site presently. He is pictured here on the left, with IAFOR IAB Chairman, Professor Stuart Picken.

Bronze arrived in Croatia! Enthusiastic fans greeted the players on the Square

Around 10 thousand people came to the square to welcome cowboys.

Bronze Croatian handball team returned today from the Poland, in Zagreb's Pleso airport plane landed around 12:30 hours. Handball players from the Pleso went to the Ban Jelacic city Square where official welcome was organized to mark the great success of Croatian national handball team. Around 10 thousand people came to the square to welcome cowboys.

The course of welcome:

Croatian Presidentess Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic cheered the players in the battle for bronze, 'I love her beyond words'

Presidentess of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has a true passions for sports, which she often shows. She is frequently seen in sport arenas during the performances of our athletes, and what adorns her is a true passion.

The Presidentess does not hesitate to start cheering, and refuses to go to the lodge, but descends among the "regular" fans. It was so a few days ago while in the official visit to Poland, among other things, she decided to lead cheers for the players, which resulted in one of the best matches of the national team in its history.

Unfortunately, against Spain she was not present, nor today, but before the fight for the bronze medal Grabar-Kitarovic on her Facebook page posted her photo as the fan with the message:

"The easiest thing is, when you ask me how much and how strong I love her, only one word is right response: indescribable!" Wrote the president of the lyrics of the famous fan song "Indescribable!".
