In the new center of ISIS's Caliphate, the city of Sirte in Libya in recent days sniper killed three local strongmen, writes the Telegraph.

No one is sure what it exactly about, whether it is a single sniper or more, or is it just an urban legend.

However, three ISIS's strongmen were killed and in the city under the control of Islamists, previously knpwn as a hometown of Moammera Gaddafi, entered panic.

The last victim of the mysterious sniper was Abdullah Hamad Al-Ansari, the commander of ISIS from the Libyan city Obarija who was assassinated on 23 January after he came out of the mosque in the city center.

City of Sirte fell under the control of the Islamists last summer, and it is assumed that in the city there are currently about 2000 ISIS militants.

An witness described on the internet the panic that occurred after the ISIS commander was killed.

"Panic has gripped the ISIS-sters, they fired in the air just to scare the residents while they searched for a sniper," one wrote.

The identity of the snipers has become a topic on the Internet. While some believe that he was a soldier from the nearby city of Misrata, others have gone so far as to claim that a US special forces operate in the region in order to collect data on ISIS.
