Your lives will be determined by time and space. The times you were born in and the place. Your family, culture, religion and politics will determine much of what your life will be like.

The good news is that it won’t last much longer than 80 years and could be much shorter.

You’ll be indoctrinated while a child, and in later years, if you rebel against it, you’ll be haunted by your earlier teachings all the way to the grave. The saying, “Raise up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it,” is not absolutely accurate, but it’s close.

Most people will never change from the religion they were born into (nor their politics) and never check-out whether either contain any truth, thus most people will be quasi-“members” of a faith (or political persuasion) but care little about it beyond family ties and associations, and that, in order to not rock the boat, be disenfranchised or shunned.

The saying, “The unexamined life is not worth living,” is also not absolutely accurate, however, most people will not deeply examine their lives, examine their beliefs nor delve deeply into the meaning of life, but rather, live their lives according to their programming and indoctrination, and who is to say, “that doesn’t have value,” when in fact, determining value is a personal thing.

Most people will go unthinkingly with the flow that creates their reality, and in the end should they be old and sucking runny oatmeal as their last day approaches they’ll reflect back and wonder, “What the hell was that all about?”

So sit back, relax, snooze a little, for the ship to earth is about to leave, and should your seat be vacant when you arrive, we’ll figure you were smarter than the rest of the passengers and got off before we left.
