In a few hours the Pentagon will announce the company that will develop the new strategic bomber USA. The choice will fall on one of the projects presented by Northrop Grumman and a team of Boeing / Lockheed Martin. Both could be wings flying.

The super bomber next generation of American aviation (some may also be unmanned), is slowly becoming reality. The new bomber already know the price: $ 550 million for exemplary fleet of 100 new generation aircraft and a total expenditure of $ 55 billion.

The new bomber will cost a quarter of the B-2, currently under USAF. The twenty-built aircraft and operating costs prohibitive relegate the B-2 aircraft to more propaganda than to realistic combat aircraft (also because there are theaters that require strength, power and technology of the B-2 dissolved the USSR ). The project is classified in 2011, but as you know, between the development and the testing and what is shown to the public there is a gap of about 20-25 years. The proof is given by the fact that the two new prototypes USAF furrow the skies by time.
