Woman Opens Eyes During Organ Harvesting - Why I Don't Sign to Donate

There's something very unnatural about organ harvesting that I just don't like. I do not sign to donate my organs on any document.

It seems that the good doctors are very eager to get the organs as 'fresh' as possible to ensure they are good for transplant. The problem with this is that people are not always dead, but in comas, etc., and some have awakened at their own funerals, etc..

A woman at a Syracuse, N.Y. hospital had been prepped for surgery and reportedly opened her eyes as they were about to harvest her organs and they later determined she was in a coma. She had overdosed on Xanax, Benadryl and a muscle relaxant, and they thought she was in cardiac death and the family was persuaded to withdraw life support and donate her organs.

Close one. They had not completed enough brain scans and tests, etc..

The hospital was caught this time, but how many other times to they get to steal someone's body? How many persons have unnecessarily lost their lives to this scam of declaring them dead with fear of brain damage, etc.?
