Grand Prairie, Texas, a Dallas-Ft. Worth area neighborhood had only one homicide last year, but has already had the first homicide of the year.

When you look at this adorable little 13 month old son of the late Angela Bynum and find out he will grow up without his natural mother it makes you believe what the 'Network' character, Howard Beale, said about people becoming dehumanized, etc., and the end of the individual. Too many people don't care about others anymore. Dehumanization. (pic of child was removed)

These city residents seem to think it's safe to rent a city apartment and 'relax' enough to lead life as normal. Even though the police issued statements that this looked like the victim was targeted but did not know why, they implied the area was generally safe. The idea is; what will stop these murdering thugs from simply targeting the next woman alone? That's what they fail to tell the public. This happened to other single moms recently last year.
