First, Dave discusses a recent Charles Barkley interview where he laments how cancel culture has ruined the NBA and his job. He describes how he is constantly being told what he can say and why he can’t joke about San Antonio women anymore. He also reveals when he plans to retire from sports media since it is no longer fun to do.

Next, Dave talks about how Joy Reid of MSNBC’s The Reidout has begun naming critics of critical race theory like Christopher Rufo so she can smear them and their positions on the critical race theory debate.

Don Lemon gave an interview with the Washington Post where he shows how deep his racism hysteria goes by making the baseless claim that he doesn’t know “if America sees Black people and especially Black gay men as fully human, and as deserving of the American Dream”.

Finally, an LGBTQ Pride Event called TAKING B(L)ACK PRIDE is free for people of color, but requires a reparations fee for “white allies and accomplices”. Despite this event being held at a city park and seemingly against the law, the city of Seattle has allowed the fee to be charged. How charging white people fees in the name of racial inequality will help close the racial wealth gap is unclear. Lorena Gonzalez, the mayoral candidate and the Seattle Human Rights Commission have both supported the group’s right to charge people based on their race.
