A woman wrecks the family car. It's clear she made a mistake and the upshot is she is at fault. She gets out of the car and exclaims as she surveys the damage. “My husband is going to kill me!” While this sounds like a scene from an old “I Love Lucy” episode, there may be some truth in what the woman just exclaimed. I read that women are five times more likely to be killed by their husband than anyone else.

In the portrayal of the scene above the woman may have been saying what she did in complete sense of humor. The trouble is... in most things the universe has no sense of humor. As far as we can tell, you get what you ask for and expect. We've been told that in churches since we were wee little people. However, we need to adjust and emphasize what we say to reflect what we expect. If you do not want something to come true, never speak of it. Do not give it a thought, literally. I often say to myself, “I reject that thought.” Though, honestly, I do not do that very often anymore.

The information that most of us received as children was glaringly missing that one thing. It was missing the one secret of life that we all need and should focus upon. I thought about that, this morning, as I watched the video pointed out by Lymerick here on RMN.

While there may be many secrets and tips to living a life of great experiences and benefits, the following thought is THE most important one. At least this has proved to be my experience. Use it and you will find the complexion of your life changing. I wouldn't tell you this, if I didn't already live by it. To do otherwise is like playing the poker game of life and throwing away your aces. For me, it works, why not you?

Never say what you do not desire to happen.
Always think, visualize and concentrate only on what you do want to happen.

This is the biggest secret of life anything else brings defeat.
