Forests, Jobs and Weather: About God Damn Time!

After you read the following article, can you connect the dots, to inform your self, that enslaving people, through monetary means, provokes desperation, which leads to the requirement for jobs to pay off endless debt, which then leads to the desire for continuous expansion of the economy, just because of the parasitical leaching off of every single transaction. Unfair exchanges impede fulfillment of desire. This extends to all unfair exchanges. For example, rent seekers. For an exchange to be fair, there must be equal giving. What do each party to an exchange consider to be the definition of "equal"? And, what do each party to an exchange consider the "value" to be for that which each is "giving"?

Because idiocy in positions of power breeds more idiocy, the continuous parasitical behavior grows, and teaches others how to be a parasite. This leads directly to foolish use of resources, human attention, and alignment of will. The reason for the cutting down of forests, and the building of endless homes and commercial properties, is only for collecting a paycheck. There is no thought given to the use of resources. There is no thought given to what is best for all of us in the short term, or even the long term. This can be extended to "new" (old) technologies that have been suppressed, or unfunded, for the sole purpose of monopolization by a few idiots.

Also note, that fear of survival provokes reproduction in all species. So, we get the added bonus from having idiots in positions of control, that being a larger population, which will live in greater desperation. Yea!

Now, can the control freaks and financial junkies look in the mirror, and see how they are directly responsible for the destruction of the environment, and how their stupid subsequent desire to kill off the population should start with their own stupid a$$! The idiot wannabe king who made the statement about being reincarnated as a disease that would kill off the human population, "to save the earth", is in one of the few families that are hugely responsible for the man-made desperation that inflicts the entire global population, which motivates the cutting down of forests, among many other effects that result from this cause.

Yeah the hypocrisy pisses me off. Such ignorance, thinking it should rule everything else, when in fact and deed, it should shut the hell up and sit down, and leave nature and the human species alone. Just watch and observe you ignorant dipshits.

Of course, it is the remainder of the population of this planet, that are just as responsible for going along with the dictates of fools.

Note how long it takes for "institutions" to finally get a clue. The slow moving idiocracy is like a snail. The "administrative" constructs of such institutions and their total failures to perform anything, is like being stabbed to death with a spoon. The ego and domination of a top down one size fits all mentality is completely retarded, idiotic, and I can't think of another word to label this crap with right now. So, why would people give any credibility to these institutions? Ignorance?

The second to last paragraph in the following article, is evidence for not having a global government or top down control. Is the environment to continue suffering due to the control freak and financial junkie's inability to use logic, personal experience, and physics on an individual level? Should we all continue helping the idiots to destroy everything, because they are just beginning to learn what many already know? Notice they have yet to connect the dots to rainfall.

Decentralize everything, Now!

Deforestation is Messing with Our Weather - and Our Food | UMD Right Now :: University of Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Today, the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) at the University of Maryland published new research in Nature Communications providing insight into how large-scale deforestation could impact global food production by triggering changes in local climate. In the study, researchers zero in on albedo (the amount of the sun’s radiation reflected from Earth’s surface) and evapotranspiration (the transport of water into the atmosphere from soil, vegetation, and other surfaces) as the primary drivers of change in local temperature.

A bird's eye view of the stark contrast between the forest and agricultural landscapes near Rio Branco, Acre, Brazil. Courtesy Kate Evans for Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) via Flickr/Creative Commons“Understanding the precise mechanisms of forest-generated warming or cooling could help regional management agencies anticipate changes in crop yields,” said Safa Motesharrei, co-author of the paper and a systems scientist at SESYNC. “Together, with the knowledge of other ecological factors, this information can help decision makers and stakeholders design policies that help to sustain local agricultural practices.”

Agriculture—specifically, converting forest cover to plantations for oil palm, soy, rubber, coffee, tea, rice, and many other crops—is widely believed to be one of the main causes of deforestation. Such change in land cover could drive a rise or fall in local temperature by as much as a few degrees. This kind of fluctuation could substantially impact yields of crops that are highly susceptible to specific climate conditions, resulting in harvests that are less productive and less profitable.

The path to understanding these local impacts, researchers say, is through albedo and evapotranspiration, which cause warming, and cooling, respectively. Forests have a darker surface than, for example, an agricultural field—forests therefore have a lower albedo, which means less solar radiation is reflected and more is absorbed. On the other hand, forests absorb more rainwater and transpire it as water vapor later.

“These two competing biophysical effects could determine whether—at a specific location or during a specific time of the day or season of the year—a forest could cause local cooling or warming,” said Yan Li, lead author of the study and visiting climate scientist at the University of Maryland. “And, by extension, whether clearing a forest could lead to a rise or fall in local temperature.”

For example, the researchers found that tropical forests, which occur closest to the equator, have a strong cooling effect year-round. Boreal forests, which occur furthest from the equator, and temperate forests, which occur between tropical and boreal forests, show a seasonal variation. Boreal forests have strong warming in winter and moderate cooling in summer with net warming annually, and temperate forests show moderate cooling in summer and moderate warming in winter with net cooling annually. The scientists say this difference in cooling or warming can be largely explained by whether albedo or evapotranspiration is the dominant effect.

Evapotranspiration data via MODIS/NASAThe study addresses questions that have been previously impossible to answer without this global satellite data. Earlier research has studied the effects of forest cover on temperature using field observations or global climate models. Because field work can be expensive, time-intensive, and logistically difficult, field measurements are generally available for only limited areas. These data are therefore difficult to scale up to develop a global picture. And because climate models require immense computational resources to run, they’re often unable to provide focused local information with reliable precision.

The satellite data used in the study—collected by NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer, or MODIS—provides the best of both worlds: information that is rich in detail and global in coverage. As a result, the researchers could effectively zoom in and back out again to analyze the same phenomena everywhere around the world.
