I watched this on Netflix streaming last night and there are some very appropriate messages for our times.
In the 1880's aristocratic landlords were wringing out the tenant farmers with oppressive rents and this is about the tenant farmers response and what WORKED.
It's the origin of what we know as a boycott aka "shunning". A slight twist on "voting with your dollars".
