It is common, in any industry, in any area of the economy. It is easily noticeable in the behavior of law enforcement. Any individual human being or group that has enough power, by whatever means, that can oppose, with enough force or stamina, will be left alone, regardless of their behavior. The same goes for international situations. If a country has nuclear weapons, they are less likely to be harassed. Do people living in the ghetto have the finances or connections to oppose with enough force or stamina?

The clear message displayed by this behavior, is that cops and all other law enforcement and even military personnel, are cowards. Yes, I said cowards. If you are afraid to confront the criminal behavior of some wealthy or powerful individual or group, because you might lose your paycheck, you are blinded by your fear of losing your paycheck, to the point you cannot see the long term consequences for failure to perform your job.

So, when all police departments, or the entire military force, fail to deal properly with criminal activity, or unconstitutional behavior, you end up with criminals, control freaks, and financial junkies ruling the world. Yeah, you are so brave, such a hero. You will push some kids face into the cement over a joint, but you're to much of a pussy to deal with the true criminals in our "civilized" society. Pathetic.

The only logical reason to not deal with it properly, is if you are outnumbered. But then you should be using other tactics, not just going along with it, to keep that paycheck coming in.

Your behavior is obvious to anyone that cares to look in your direction. You don't want to look at your fear of losing your paycheck. You would rather point the blame to something other than yourself. How mature. How honorable. How manly. How brave you are, not...

Some may think I am coming down hard on you, for the consequences could be harsh, in that type of situation. I am coming down hard on you, because that seems to be the only way you will pay attention to the details. It is how you behave. Apparently I have to give you the same lack of respect you give everyone else, in order to get you to even think about the situation a tiny bit.

Do you think that you and your coworkers are the only ones who have been threatened? Do think your families lives are the only ones to have been threatened, as a tool to keep you inline? There are many people who have been threatened. What is the point in going along with the criminal/corrupt behavior, when they end up doing the same thing to you and your family later on?

They told this DEA agent not to enforce drug laws in white areas. Really.
