It's a rainy day of rest, playing catch-up and being thankful here in NE Texas. Thanks in large part to some wonderful friends and supporters, I am pretty sure that I AM going to survive my financial crisis. I have the new job at Walmart in electronic sales (and later sporting goods, lawn & garden and hardware). I and my found dogs am in good shape for food. Other than my landlord, my bills are paid past the crisis point and I just have to hang on until the first paycheck is in the bank this Thursday. It's a small one, covering just a week - so things will continue to be tight for awhile as I get caught up. But I am going to make it! Hooray!!

Now, let me tell you about my SECOND JOB. Yep, that's right - I now have TWO jobs. The second one is as a Field Representative for a company in Cleveland, Ohio. In a nutshell, it involves visiting and measuring residential and commercial properties, taking outside measurements of the structures as well as photos and then submitting a report. It will work wonderfully with my part-time job at Walmart, as I gt to complete the assignments on my own schedule (my off days and off hours at Walmart) and generally have anywhere from two to three weeks to complete each assignment.

What would really complete my plans would be to get the job at the USPS running the small, local one-person post office that is only about 8 miles away. IF that happens, likely in mid to late June (fingers and toes crossed), it will become my number one job and I will try to work one of my two present jobs as the second job in my off hours at the post office (where I only would have a 22-hour per week schedule, 8 - noon M -F and 8 - 10 on Saturday). Hopefully, by that time I will have earned enough good will at Walmart to be able to continue to work late shifts for them (say 1 pm to 9 pm or somesuch).

My main goal has been to be able to make enough money to survive and get caught up AND still have time enough to continue updating my website, doing some writing and continuing to have a presence on social media - primarily RMN, Facebook, and Curezone. Looks to me like I am about there. :)
