We are in the final days of legislative session and we need YOU to ask your legislators to DEFEAT EXPANSIONS TO IMPLIED CONSENT VACCINE SURVEILLANCE BY THE FLORIDA HEALTH DEPARTMENT!

PLEASE MAKE YOUR CALLS TO YOUR FLORIDA STATE REPRESENTATIVE, SENATOR, AND GOVERNOR NOW TO STRONGLY OPPOSE CS HB 213 and CS SB 354! Final votes are about to happen!

Do NOT be fooled by recent substitutes or amendments! They do nothing to prevent the unconsented grab of your records by the health department or stop the health department from still tracking refusers by requiring opt-out forms to be sent to them!

WHAT TO SAY:

Vote NO on both registry bills CS HB 213 and CS SB 354 because telling my health care practitioner “NO” does NOT mean NO to surveillance from the Florida health department!

Opt-Out forms are still required to be submitted to the health department. [CSHB 213 lines 78-79, CSSB 354 lines 71-73]

Our confidential health records are being data mined by the health department without our consent as both bills allow “the upload of data from existing automated systems.” [CSHB 213 lines 123-125 and CSSB 354 115-117]

Health care practitioners are required by law to report to the registry [CSHB 213 lines 105-109 and CSSB 354 lines 98-102] and their performance vaccinating everyone is being tracked by the department and insurance companies.

The health department uses birth records from the Office of Vital Statistics to start a registry file without parental consent on children born in Florida. [CSHB 213 lines 65-69 and CSSB 354 lines 55-58]

Both bills are expanding vaccine tracking from children to adults too.
