A GOP lawmaker called on Jesus at least 13 times and asked for 'forgiveness' during her 'offensive' prayer just moments before the first female Muslim member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives was sworn in on Monday. Rep Stephanie Borowicz (above), who is a Republican and an associate pastor's wife who was elected to represent a rural central Pennsylvania district in November, said: 'God, forgive us. Jesus, we've lost sight of you; we've forgotten you God in our country. And we're asking you to forgive us Jesus,' she said, right before Muslim Democratic Rep Movita Johnson-Harrell (inset) took the oath of office. Toward the end of the prayer, one member is heard shouting objections, which prompted House Speaker Mike Turzai to nudge her elbow, signaling for her to wrap it up. Johnson-Harrell said Tuesday that she was offended by the prayer and felt the remarks by Borowicz used her religion against her. 'To use Jesus as a weapon is not OK,' Johnson-Harrell said.
