During Obama's own "I am Spartacus" speech last week, Mister Narcissist with a Teleprompter mentioned himself over 100 times and tried to take false credit for Trump's economy, pointing out that in 2015 and 2016 his jobs figures were the same as Trump's have been. For some reason, he didn't mention GDP. But let's take a closer look at the jobs created under Obama. The numbers may be similar, but the jobs that have been created aren't.

Thanks in great part to the debacle of Obamacare and the mandate Trump has thankfully eliminated, a larger number of the jobs created under Obama were part-time jobs compared to Trump - and a large number of full time workers had their hours cut to part-time. According to a study by economists from Harvard and Princeton, 94% of the 10 million new jobs created during the Obama era were part-time, contract or temporary positions.

Whether part-time or full-time, the jobs created under Obama were lower paying than the jobs that have been created under Trump. Manufacturing jobs (Trump has seen over 400,000 new ones created - on the way to over 600,000 in the coming months compared to a net loss of 300,000 under Obama) and other production jobs such as those in the energy sector pay considerably more than part time and service industry jobs.

In other words, Barry, 200,000 Obama apples are not the same as 200,000 Trump oranges.

BTW, last month, wages increased by the largest amount since June, 2009 (3%) - but the real story is much better than that. What really counts is take home pay. Thanks to the booming economy of Donald J. Trump (sorry Barry, but you didn't build that), employees are working more hours.

Thanks to the tax cuts, around 90% of workers are taking home bigger paychecks regardless of hours worked. When you combine the extra hours with the tax cuts, the average increase in actual take home pay is above 5%. For tens of millions it is well above 5%.

Does anyone really believe that the same would be true if Hillary had won and carried on Obama's precious legacy?

And a final question: if the Trump economy is actually bad then why is Obama trying to take credit for it?
