Joy is an energy. Joy is infective. It infects everyone around it, and so does misery.

People who enjoy all that is life never complain. They enjoy the pleasure and the pain, so they have nothing to complain about.

If they enjoy their pleasure and pain in silence, without talking, they are a pleasure to be around. If they say they are enjoying their pain, they’re considered nuts. Best to be silent.

Would you rather use your mind or the mind that created and sustains life, and your life?

Your mind is limited. Life’s mind is unlimited. Life’s mind actually knows what it’s doing, after all, it’s keeping you alive, whereas your conscious mind can’t even run your body’s functions, and if you tried in your ignorance to run your heart, blood, immune system or any of your bodily systems you would only murder yourself.

Why not give credit where credit is due. The only sin is ignorance. And sin only means you are doing things without full knowledge of how they will turn out. It’s the nature of life while here. Life’s mind is sufficient to fill-in the ignorance so things will turn out well, but only if you do not trust to your own understanding and give credit and thanks where it’s due.

You may think things should go this way or that way and that people should or shouldn’t do this or that. Only someone who trusts their own mind’s thinking, thinks that way. Why trust to your limited understanding when life’s mind is available just by admitting you don’t know it all.

The counsel “Trust not to thine own understanding,” has a blessing attached to it when you stop trusting to your own understanding, stop trusting your thinking, stop trusting in your conclusions, biases, prejudices, beliefs, opinions and judgments as if you know it all. Quit being so full of yourself. It will only lead to disaster lessons, lessons brought on by trusting to your own understanding.

Yes you know some things (within limits) and you can go with that knowledge to do and accomplish those things you do well. Congratulations, you are like everyone else who can do some things well. Try not to be vain or prideful about it. Be thankful instead.
