This raises the issue of what to do about trolls and shills and those who protest and pay for "protest".

When I was in a think tank one of the researchers said he found the only successful antidrug program was, arresting, convicting, and executing drug dealers. This was France, circa 1985.
So do we want to get rid of the Communists, and if so, how far will we go, or are we afraid of being called McCarthyites or Nazis, etc.

Or would severe penalties get out of hand, mean a reign of terror.

What we have is an enemy who won't back down as long as he thinks we are soft.
