A new bill has been sponsored in the House of Representatives called the “Responsible Body Armor Possession Act”. It is H.R. 378 sponsored by Rep. Michael M. Honda (D-CA-17) So far it's been referred to the Subcommittee on Crimes, Treason, Homeland Security, and Investigations. It should come as no great surprise who the people co-sponsoring this bill are. Alcee Hastings (D-FL), Robin Kelly (D-IL) and Danny Davis (D-IL). It's also no great surprise to me that my former party, long overtaken by the socialist/fascists, are working overtime to bring about their communist utopian dream.

This act would strip the right of regular civilians to purchase or own body armor. That would cover anyone fearing the bill would be passed into law and purchasing it now. Because the bill reads “It shall be unlawful for any persons to purchase, own or possess enhanced body armor.” It further defines body armor as, “body armor, including a helmet or shield, the ballistic resistance of which meets or exceeds the ballistic performance of Type III armor...” This is the kind of armor that protects against standard issue rifles as well as many kinds of rounds used in handguns.

Of course, this only applies to regular US citizens. If you work for the government you are automatically exempt. All personnel who work for various government agencies, departments or 'political subdivisions' are exempt. What in the hell is a 'political subdivision'? The United States Postal Service or NASA? If this bill passes and you are caught wearing OR even owning any of this restricted articles, you will be fined, jailed or both.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure our Founding Fathers did not intend for the citizens of this country to only continue to bear muskets while the government paid military increased the amount and inventiveness of new weaponry. What makes me so sure of that? Read the Declaration of Independence, penned by Thomas Jefferson. He was pretty explicit about the citizenry retaining their weapons and retaining the ability to overthrow a tyrannical government and replacing it with one more to their liking. That would mean keeping abreast of any new weapons technology, not that that is likely to happen with our 'black budget' manufacturing. But no weapons or weapon technology that is available to our military should be off limits to US citizens. For the very reasons put forth by the men who wrote our Constitution and Bill of rights.

Of course, the tyrannical government would do everything in its power to sabotage that eventuality. That should tell you, if nothing else gets through, the kind of police state we already live in. How can I say that? Isn't this this land of the free and the home of the brave? It used to be. But you tell me, when you live in a country where the government sanctions law enforcement kicking in your door without a warrant signed by a judge; where law enforcement can confiscate and keep your property even if you are proven innocent of any crime; a country where you can be arrested and detained or even killed without any recourse; a country where you can be prosecuted for refusing vaccinations for yourself or your children and your children can be taken away; a country where your Supreme Court can declare corporations to be people; a country where your president can ignore Congress and make or change laws taking your freedom away with his phone and pen; a country where a law enforcement retard can try to justify their acquiring military weapons and equipment because of 'armed constitutionalists'; a country that has completely sold out to Big Pharma, allowing the poisoning and killing of its citizens by GMOs, drugs not fully tested or where results of tests are buried by corporations that fund your representatives; a country where the FDA doesn't have the resources or man power to test and regulate our food and pharmaceuticals but has time to harass manufacturers of nutritional or herbal supplements, independent organic gardeners, farmers and dairymen. You tell me if you think we already live in a police state. And if not, what does one look like?

What can we do? First and most importantly, support your constitutional sheriffs with everything you have. Join a local or the national militia and if you live in the districts where the above traitorous representatives live, work overtime to get them replaced with patriots who are able to read and understand the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Work at the local, county, and state level to weed out any politician who supports the watering down of your constitutional rights.

It seems to me that We The People have been silent and compliant for far too long.
