First to establish my "food sensitivity credentials". Some long time ago, I was told, from some Chinese Medicine analysis which I cannot actually recall what it was, that based on some info -- unsure if birthdate, pulse analysis or whatever else --, that I was a type that needs to watch carefully what I eat, drink, etc. Thus, for many decades, I am careful and ultra-conservative. For example, I have not had caffeine in over four decades and even gave up chocolate about five years ago; I can have white chocolate very occasionally. I am a vegetarian for a couple decades now, though not vegan.
Presently, I was eating a particular lineup of foods, based on this lineup giving me enough energy, convenience, taste. Then, I realized recently that one item in my lineup contained the vague "Natural Flavoring" item.
"Natural Flavoring" is the FDA-permitted extreme whitewash of aborted fetal tissue, then laboratory-processed, into whatever forms it can then sell to food corporations.
Here is one article, among many, on topic:
I knew this but had slipped into using this certain food item. Suddenly, it hit me.
Sickening: Major food corporations use ...
Sickening: Major food corporations use tissue from aborted babies to manufacture flavor additives in processed foods ...
I immediately dropped using that "Natural Flavoring" item. I immediately went into a type of addiction withdrawal. My body or senses really missed this one item, though I had replaced it with a natural fruit item that should have filled in for calories, taste, energy, etc. The first three days were the most uncomfortable. Now about two weeks later, I still have not come to a physical equilibrium, and I am more convinced how harmful it was to have had that item in my diet.
So what this continuing, long term period of physiological adjustment tells me is: Subtly, I was being addicted to taking into my body aborted fetal tissue, thus, I was being addicted to cannibalism.
The adjustments since dropping this food item included as follows:
- physiologically being less than fully comfortable -- sort of subtly feeling irritable; more tired than usual; some variations in my usual excellent sleep pattern;
- some emotional lifting energetically, while also some undercoating of upset going on.
So, this was not just physical but also emotional.
I recommend eliminating "Natural Flavoring" items and getting free of an outside source putting something in our human system that we have not agreed to.
I would welcome hearing your responses in this Reading Room if you accept this lifestyle challenge. Wishing you all the best!
I have written two companies and gotten back two answers about what is the "Natural Flavoring" that they use, and was it aborted fetal tissue?
1) ClifBars wrote back immediately, stating, No, it was not, and was herbal, natural flavors.
2) Regarding Spectrum Organic Flax Oil with Cinnamon, "Spectrum Organic Products, LLC, a subsidiary of the Hain Celestial Group (Nasdaq: HAIN)", initially wrote back and failed to address my question. I wrote back, specifically asking the question again. After about 2 weeks, I received the following reply:
Thank you for reaching out to us. We always appreciate hearing from our loyal consumers!
Spectrum is very proud of the unique flavor blend in our products. We go to great expense to ensure you of the highest quality ingredients in our product. We do not divulge the specific components in our unique flavors; to do so would compromise the very distinctiveness that allows us to thrive. If you have concerns regarding allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients, we recommend that you avoid all food products with added flavorings.
