Hillary Clinton and Hussein Obama’s former communications director Jennifer Palmieri describes being held accountable for the Democratic Party positions she supports as putting her in a box. She can’t truthfully answer the questions without undermining basic freedoms and defying the Constitution, so she does what Democrats always do in those situations.

She attacked the messenger, Tucker Carlson, and attempted to answer a different question and to make a general statement without providing any substantiation instead. When Carlson called her on it, he was accused of “putting her in a box.”

It was a pretty simple question, “Do you think the government should ever take guns from law abiding people?” Instead of answering what he asked, she states, “I think that there should be an ‘assault weapons’ ban,” not defining that mythical firearm or how a ban would be achieved with semi-automatic rifles already owned by millions of Americans. “I don’t think that people [can’t say the globalist Democrat government] need to take their guns away, we can, there should be an ‘assault weapons’ ban.” You can’t have it both ways, lady.

Carlson attempts to ask, “But people who own the guns…” which would be included in the ban would have their guns confiscated? She objects to the question, saying, “You are setting the conversation up to purposefully put me in a box.” Actually it’s her unconstitutional positions that are putting her in the box and forcing her to attempt to squirm her way out of a simple, legitimate and very real question.

Carlson asks Palmieri if the reason it’s not a fair question is because she doesn’t want to answer it. She says that’s not the reason but it certainly appears that once again the Democrat is lying. She says it’s not a “sincere question,” sincere now apparently being defined as being beneficial to the subversive Democrats.

He tells her how incredibly sincere he is but she dismisses it because she’s blaming him for her lockjaw and nothing’s going to change that. Still, Carlson gives it another shot. After he tells Palmieri about his gun ownership and she replies with an admission that she is a hypocrite as her husband is a gun owner as well, he says, “That’s great, but even if I didn’t, should government ever take the guns of people who have not misused them?”

Palmieri, who has never answered the question, replies “I think we’ve addressed it now we can move on.” Actually, Carlson has addressed it, the scheming Democrat has not. She refuses to admit that their intent is disarmament through confiscation.

We don’t need to hear the words pass through her America-hating lips to know what the truth is. In fact, with Democrats, the truth rarely comes into contact with their mouths. What she doesn’t say or refuses to address tells us much more than the contrived distortions and falsehoods aimed at covering up and justifying their assaults on the American people and our nation.

Tucker Carlson did an excellent job of putting her in that box despite and through her determined efforts to skirt the edges.
