Don't bet the farm on it, but don't bet against it either. Armageddon for the Democrats is looking more and more likely, and it is all self-inflicted: moving ever further left and away from middle America, no new leadership that could bridge that ever-incresing gap, revelations about Democrat politicians, clebrities and media figures which demonstrate the hypocrisy of those who have positioned themselves as the champions of women, and finally, betting the farm and the House and the Senate on beng total obstructionists.

Nowhere is the Democrats gamble on obstructing all things Trump more potentially devastating than the new Republican tax bill. Nancy Pelosi just called the bill "Aremegeddon", and it may well be - for the Democrats that is. Flawed as the bill may be and slanted as the bill may be towards corporations and the wealthy, if it does provide tax relief for most Americans and if it spurs and already invigorated economy that produces more jobe, higher wages and even lower unemployment, there may be hell to pay for Democrats in 2018 - particularly those Democrat senators trying to run for re-election in red states won handily by Trump. And in the ashes of that Armageddon will be the grand scheme to de-legitimize and impeach Trump.

Then there is FBI senior agent Peter Strzok, who was ousted from the Mueller investigation in July after the discovery of text messages that revealed his huge bias against Trump and his support for Hillary Clinton. This revelation is nothing short of earth shaking, because Strzok had his hands in just about everything Hilllary as well as the witch hunts against Trump. He led the investigation into Hillary's email scandal, recommended against indicitment and changed the language in FBI Director James Comey's exoneration from "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless". "Gross negligence" is the wording in the law which makes what Hillary did a crime (and it does NOT require intent).

Strzok also played a lead role in the FBI's year-long investigation into the Trump campaign, which produced not one iota of evidence of criminal collusion. He was also one of 12 FBI agents who received the fake Russian dossier which funded by Hillary's campaign and the DNC and which was subsequently leaked to try to discredit Trump. That same bogus dossier may also have been used by the FBI to justify investigations and wiretaps of Trump campaign members and hundreds of other opposition figures, perhaps including Trump himself, and the illegal unmasking of some of those figures including General Michael Flynn.

It was Strzok who interviewed Flynn in the FBI entrapment interview which led to Flynn being charged with lying about something he did which was completely legal. Strzok also was one of the agents that interviwed Hillary in the holiday weekend interview which was not recorded and where no notes were taken - and where Hillary lied as well as said she did not remember 38 times. Finally, it was Strzok who recommended against Hillary being indicted. Thanks to the revelations about Strzok, investigations into Hillary are going to be re-examined and perhaps re-opened - and who knows where that may lead?

No wonder Comey's BFF Mueller tried to stonewall and keep the reasons for removing Strzok from the investigation. But the truth is out, and it may get much worse because the word is that more texts and emails will be forthcoming which reveals similar bias on the part of the Democrat donor and other members of the investigation. Is it time to sing "Hi ho, the witch, and the witch hunt, are dead?"

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is piling up victory after victory. How about that 9-2 Supreme Court decision allowing his immigration ban to continue, hmmm? Have you seen the stock market soaring ever since Trump was elected? How about the 25-year low in unemployment? How about consumer confidence and business confidence indexes? If you haven't seen much on all of those and many more positives and accomplishments, you have been reading and listening to the wrong media.

A very real question may be: Will the Democrats ever rise from the ashes of their self-inflicted Armedgeddon? I don't know about you, but I don't see any rising Pheonixes in a party that has bet the farm, and apparently lost, on obstructing and ousting Trump.
