It's quite rare these days for me to post on this worthy forum, but events here in the UK have given me pause for thought at the implications of the UK now voting to leave the EU.

As with all these events, the purpose behind it is not what it seems and I suspect that this is more about the structure of the current EU and how this 'leave' result will affect it.

The way I see it, there was a plan all along to convince the British people that their best interests lay in leaving. Those who planned it used Boris Johnson to bring about this result because he is a charismatic communicator and they knew David Cameron was no match for him. It worked. So where do we go from here?

I see this as an excuse for some major re-structuring of the EU itself, into something far more sinister (but on the face of it, more attractive to the people), maybe call it something else. Then whoever is in charge will persuade the British people to join this new, improved EU. or whatever is will be called then.

If not that, then some "terrorist" event will be fabricated and then used to achieve something similar.

Either way, I don't see this result in a good light as the Leave compaign does. The ruling elite's goal has always been mass control and this is, as I see it, going to be better served by this outcome.

It would be nice to think that the voice of the people had actually made a difference in this case. It may be good insofar as people haven't been so impressed by the nonsense that's been thrown about in the run-up to this vote but there is still way too much ignorance of the way our lives have been and continue to be manipulated.

But we are living in interesting times and I will watch closely as events unfold. Although I am now an infrequent visitor to RMN, I continue to support and praise its mission and purpose and long may it continue.
