I'll try and not disappoint you for clicking on my dramatic headline, it's for real. It is these two earthquakes a few hours ago which I feel give me a "green light" to go into this topic in great detail without wasting your time or mine:
2016-05-27 22:00:28.5 UTC 40.40 N 125.38 W Magnitude 4.5 OFFSHORE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

2016-05-27 22:03:08.0 UTC 40.43 N 125.20 W Magnitude 3.1 OFFSHORE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
It was exactly four thousand days ago tonight that it happened, a powerful 7.2 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Northern California at 7:51 PM California time, caused Tsunami-warning sirens to wail starting at 7:56 PM, and the bulletin to be issued on radio, TV and internet...causing Rayelan Allen, who lived south of the San Francisco Bay Area at the time, to jump in her car and head East, to higher ground inland. That night of June 14-15, 2005 she was a also on the phone with RMN agent "NeverSurrender", and I was on the phone with NeverSurrender! So NeverSurrender told me that Rayelan was mobile, zooming eastward.
Everyone including the National Tsunami Center personnel were on high alert since the monstrous earthquake and tsunami of December 25-26, 2004, probably if it weren't for that, a tsunami alert wouldn't have been declared for the whole friggin West Coast of the U.S.
Here is a news report, and two "official reports" about that tsunami incident, Crescent City California was hit by tsunami wave that night:
