where do these people think McD's is going to get the money to give them the increase that they want? Either McD's raises its prices, which will drive away some customers and cause some employees job loss as its income drops, or it must fire those it cannot afford to pay at the higher rate. Socialists and Liberals have no sense when it comes to how things are paid for. Certainly, in the greedy large corporations that are in bed with government, there is a lot of misuse of monies- but in the middle class corporations (and most of them are such), there is little "wiggle-room" - little excess spending to spread around to employees. If the minimum wage jumps up higher, we will see (as before) businesses folding and people losing their jobs.

"Socialism only works until your run out of other peoples' money to spend". It is a vehicle through which, the P's that B are bringing down this once great Republic. -Kathy
