Many thanks, Jesse! I'll head over to his channel now! Those of us here in the eastern half of the U.S. may not realize the Importance of the Hoover Dam out in Nevada. I was born in late 1951. As a young child, my brothers and myself, along with our 2 cousins, were left with grandparents while our parents took a trip west. I have the old family photos Mama took of the newly built Hoover Dam, along with other places they visited on their trip.

I've fished Lake Mead for 30yrs and remember better water management. I've personally seen the water level flowing over the dam. This is purposeful. Make no mistake.

It doesn't make sense that a dam will be damaged or compromised without water pressure behind it. It was constructed WITHOUT water pressure behind it. That means it would have been built in a failed configuration and would have never been able to dam the river. I've heard people say that for years, but haven't been able to find supporting documentation.
