Yesterday, I went over to take a good friend for a drive, she has had diminished mental capacity from Chemo. So occasionally, I take her for a drive but will be doing walks as the weather warms.

She often likes to go where we both spent time growing up a sort of reliving the past, always sweet and fun to be with:)

We had been up on the old Dairy and drove down on the back road to her home. This cop saw me driving slow, I wasn't holding up traffic, the whole trip someone needs by a pull over or speed up until I can pull over. I'm a very polite driver and on that road often wave to everyone, so many that I know.

Coming around the corner we met a cop going the other way, I waved and he sees me and does a double take and flips around to pull me over, for going to slow he says, k---------------.

So then he asks for all my info, but just so happened my insurance paper wasn't easy to come up with at the moment, I was to stressed and feeling very bad for the lady I was taking for a drive. She was getting cold and was a bit scared. This is what we pay police for, hmmmmm. Then he proceeds to tell me he has looked on his database and I don't have insurance so I must show at this place at this time to prove it. I knew I had insurance and knew once I settled down I would find it and I did.

What makes this so interesting is he hands me this lovely document must have a print out in their vehicles and you can read everything easily except what I'm supposed to do. That part looked like there was no ink in it; really, I'm sure if I took it to an attorney (mind you it is a show insurance and they tear this up, but they have wasted my time and the states) he would have a hell of a lot to say about that!!!

And I just might do it! Then I get a document from the state wanting me to prove I have insurance because they say they don't have it in their files, same car, same address, same insurance since 2019, go figure. Also sent information to this same group once before.

Yet, several of the government agency people in different groups have seemed to have troubles following through.

So we have to pay for that how many times? This is like before Russia fell. Again when anyone is spending money to send police out to hand out citations that had to be made up; oh no, excuse me that wasn't, it was what he pulled me over for that was made up!

I was on a residential lane where the speed limit is 25 miles an hour and had just rounded a corner, was probably going about 15 miles an hour, I'm sure the kids and dogs and families were happy; just not the local police. Or maybe just a ruse to pull someone over; hope he got his quota!!!

Sigh...................

If this is what they are doing it is time to reduce the police force, just saying.

Like Canada soon, let's beat up the old folks!!!
