It doesn't have to be in a vault for it to be US/American's property. I live next to the Rich Mountain Wilderness. The largest gold nugget ever found in Georgia was found in a stream coming off the mountain in the 1840s IIRC. If you go there and dig a 1-foot hole you are going to jail for six months for "digging up arrowheads"..yeah..right. Local rumors of a Cherokee treasure trove in a cave n these mountain persist amongst the longtime locals. The largest gold and silver veins ever found in California were discovered in the early 2000s & had a visit by high government officials and guess what. A Mine was not built. A military base was built over top of it. Kinda hard to loo that wealth when it isn't stored in a brick in a vault somewhere. It can still back our money. Think outside the vault.
