I was listening to a few youtube videos tonight and one was about the Afghanistan Papers that have come out recently. They show reveal much waste was been going on in that 18 year war, and that nothing is being done to stop the failed process. Hundreds of thousands of Afghanistan people died, and about 2,000 US soldiers. In the process the opium production has increased 7,000 fold into the hundreds of $ billions. We fly in pallets full of cash to pay off the leaders to maintain that corrupt government. And yet the only ones that are talking about this are the liberals, socialists, communist and those that use words like imperialism and capitalism. Last year alone we spend nearly $1 trillion in that war. The career officers don't change the status quo because they want a position where they can continue adding to their resume and make more money. Imagine what US citizens could do with an extra $1 Trillion spent here in this country.
This issue alone reveals how corrupt our government leaders are that fail to stop this immoral war. Here are my comments on a video on the subject:

"The military industrial complex benefits from these wars and that money is shared with the politicians. This government has no incentive to stop that kind of system of profit which is founded on the blood of American soldiers. Until a politician comes clean and tells that truth we should never trust them one bit.
Our number one priority as Americans should be to stop these kind of immoral wars for profit."

We must tell the public what is really going on with these foreign wars, and expose the military industrial complex that is the driving force to keep these wars going generation after generation. The liberals and socialists that pontificate about these wars being immoral or a sign of imperialism are a bunch of hypocrites that want to destroy our Republic by any means possible and then take our freedoms away and turn us into a socialistic state of equal peasants. Neither the left or the right in this political environment is serving the people in truth. This is what is so frustrating about the republicans and conservatives in todays politicians. They should be telling the people the full truth, since this is a nation of, by and for the people. But they only reveal a selective truth that serves their own purposes, and that is just as corrupt as what the left has been doing. Where are the statesmen that are not aligned with special interests? Where are the leaders in this nation that have character, values and honor ahead of greed? Have we run out of men? Have they been aborted? Have they been turned into doped up politically correct stooges carrying a rainbow flag, marching against the First and Second Amendment and promoting the invasion of our nation by foreigners?

We are seeing problems in our government and in our nation, but no solutions. None whatsoever. And yet this is an election year coming up and no one is telling the full truth. No one. There is a famine in this land - and it is a famine of truth. And until someone has the fortitude to stand up and tell the full truth there will continue to be a famine of truth in this nation. A nation without honorable leaders that will tell the truth is a nation drifting towards the abyss of self destruction. George Eaton
