The grassroots heroes will save America—not the elites, philosophers, political party operatives, or the mega-donors; not the congressmembers or senators or even the president. The grassroots activists who love the home of the brave so much they are willing to put their bodies on the line for her have always been the unsung heroes, keeping the city shining brightly on the top of that hill whose “beacon light,” proclaimed former President Ronald Reagan, “guides freedom-loving people everywhere.”
