The Santa Barbara Newspress was only 1 of 2 newspapers in the United States to approve of Donald J Trump becoming the President of the United States in 2016.

The Co-publisher and owner, Wendy McCaw has seen much chaos among her staff when they asked the 'labor union' to intervene as they said "she was giving her opinion and controlling the news and protecting certain celebrities" in her area. (This was a few years ago).

Now in the present, much of her staff has quit and gone over to 'leftist publications' which done much damage to President Donald J Trump and his administration.

Because of this strife, the Santa Barbara Newspress is now a shell of a newspaper. It has survived, but cannot be found in newspaper stands around the area or delivered to residences. Such is the way of 'socialism' which takes a stand in a 'sanctuary city' among a democrat administration controlled city.

A guest Republican journalist for the Santa Barbara Newspress. by the name of Andy Caldwell is running against incumbent Salude Carbajal, (in Pelosi's pocket), is making a bid for Senate. The preliminary vote was 49% Carbajal to 44% Caldwell. Hopefully, by November, the 5 point difference can bring a win to Caldwell as it is much needed.
