Starting off with the same pandering to special interests is like getting the edge of a crow bar under a load. It sets the tone for future abuse. The politician sets him/her-self up for manipulation.
What rights, protected in law, do the LGBTQ members not have, as individual human beings?
What abuse are they suffering? People not conforming to their personal preferences? People not participating in their personal delusions?
In the past, whenever I'd hear someone talking about gay marriage, I would laugh. They complain about financial differences. They complain about children, adoption.
First, the idea that government should be involved in the relationship between two people is insane to begin with. Insurance companies giving better deals to people because they are married is also insane. There are all sorts of judgments made based on statistics, that affect us all. The one size fits all routine is flawed, always has been.
Second, the fact, that homosexuality is not honestly recognized as a coping mechanism for screwed up past relationships, and/or horrible parental skills, and/or genetic train wrecks, helps further the screw-ups into the next generation, with things like adoption. All this applies to females/lesbians as well. In the same way heterosexuals growing up without proper father and mother role models screws their kids up, its even worse for homosexuals, male or female, trying to raise kids. The blind leading the blind. My statements in no way imply that government, or anyone else, should step in. We don't need a bunch of idiots trying to take the lead in the lives of these people. An individual human being dealing with a personal issue, needs to resolve their issues in their own way. Force will not work, hence governmental dictation will not work. There are so many variables involved, that nobody but those directly involved have any clue about how to deal with the situation. Government should not be involved in the personal lives of anyone.
Any violence, abuse, directed towards someone for their present mental and/or physical condition should not be tolerated, the same as for someone who is not dealing with such things. Human beings operating in ignorance about the details of someones personal life can be cruel assholes. That cruel behavior is based in ignorance. In the same way someone dealing with homosexuality is learning their way through it, so is someone who is ignorant. Both are learning. This reminds me of the stupidity of government schools, where they cram everyone into the same one-size-fits-all category. Whoever the genius control-freak is that thought of that one should be given a dunce cap and placed in the corner.
The moment you start pandering to special interests is the moment you give up yourself. It is typically called selling out. It is easy for a female to do, because they typically operate on compassion most of the time. Where is logic, cause, and effect?
When it comes to sacrifice, homosexuals serving in the military, is like transvestites being allowed to use the womens bathrooms. Yeah, that's not gonna work. If a biological male has past issues and therefore problems with females, is allowing him to use the womens bathroom not just a foot in the door? You open up the opportunity for abuse being dished out to females by the transvestite, in a public bathroom. The mental problems have not been dealt with. Now physical problems will manifest. Again, governement fixes by government jackoffs will make things worse.
Once you jump on the government-solves-problems bandwagon, you open yourself up to a mountain of stupidity. Government is worse than bourbon street at mardi gras. Booze, hookers, the average female showing her tits for beads/booze. What could go wrong? What better way to run society? Should society be run by anyone?
The average human being doesn't give a shit about the sexual preferences of another, or what two or more consenting people do in the privacy of their own space. That is not an excuse to force your preferences in the face of another, nor to make laws giving extra rights to special interests. Again, the mainstream media forces this in everyones face, as if its an everyday occurrance in everyones life. It is not. What percentage of the population is dealing with these issues, and what percentage of that is being oppressed? Is it even a public issue? Does making it a public issue serve someones agenda for acquiring greater control? Would an individual lawsuit be more appropriate to deal with such things?
