Experts believe that Europe has lost its reputation of most stable placesin the world, mainly because the leading European countries and United States took down weak regimes, precisely in those countries whose people now take over railway stations in EU
As in Europe continues to strengthen migrant crisis, many Russian media are reminiscent of the dark prophecy of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, which he pronounced a few months before his violent death.
"Listen to me now, you people from NATO! Bomb the wall that stands in the way of migrants from Africa to Europe, and the terrorists of Al Qaeda. That wall is Libya. You broke it. You're idiots, any you will burn in hell because of thousands of migrants from Africa and for supporting Al-Qaeda. It will be so. I never lie. I'm not lying even now, "Gaddafi wrote in an open letter published by the Russian daily Zavtra in May 2011, several months before he was killed.
Since the beginning of the year 500,000 refugees arrived in Europe, and migrant crisis has become the number one priority for the EU, which was confirmed by the European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker in his annual address to the European Parliament on the situation in the European Union.
"Europe today is a beacon of hope and a haven of stability in the eyes of men and women of the Middle East and Africa. It is something we should be proud of, not something we should be afraid of," said Junker.
The question of what caused the crisis triggers a flood of comments. Experts believe that Europe has lost its reputation of most stable place in the world, mainly because the leading European countries and the United States collapsed loose regimes, precisely in those countries whose people now conquist railway stations in the EU.
"It is clear to the naked eye that the refugee crisis is a result of the US-European policy," Boris Dolgov, a senior researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. "The destruction of Iraq, the destruction of Libya and trying to overthrow Bashar al-Assad in Syria the hands of Islamic radicals - it is the policy of the EU and the US, and hundreds of thousands of refugees as a result of this policy," he told Russian agency TASS.
"It is a very serious and multiple problem," says Professor Irina Zvjagelskaja from the Department of Oriental Studies at the State Institute of International Relations MGIMO in Moscow. "The civil war in Syria and tensions in Iraq and Libya perpetuated the flow of migrants, but it is not the only reason. I agree with those who see the trend of current events as another mass movement of people who leave poor countries with inefficient economies. There are systemic problems that cause people to leave their homes and away from the road. And the liberal European legislation allows many of them not only to stay in Europe, but also to live there from social assistance, without seeking the job, "says Zvjagelskaja.
"These people are exhausted, angry and humiliated. They do not know anything about European values, lifestyle and tradition, multiculturalism and tolerance. They will never agree to abide by European laws," he writes in his blog, the Russian writer, playwright and director Yevgeny Griškovec " They will never feel gratitude toward those in whose countries have managed to enter after so many problems, because these same countries first launched the bloodshed in their homelands. "
"Angela Merkel promises modern German society and Europe prepared for problems ... It is a lie and nonsense! I'm sure that many of those in France, Italy and Germany, who pretend sympathy and bewildered shaking their heads when they see on the news that more migrants drowned or died of suffocation or fatigue on the road, honestly say to himself something like this: "Serves them right, this will be a lesson to others," writes Griškovec.
Political scientist Fyodor Lukyanov believes that the crisis migrants tip of the iceberg, the essence of the crowd trouble that has been sedimented years.
"There is a direct link between the migrant crisis and the last fifteen years of Western policy in the Middle East," says Lukyanov in the pro-government newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta. "No attempt at intervention has not given the expected results. On the contrary, any such move is only the things turned from bad to worse. But even the United States and Europe to be adopted more moderate line, erosion will continue to occur, although weaker pace. The end result will however, be the same. While models of the 20th century become dysfunctional in the new conditions, there will be a peaceful transition to the next stage. "
Columnist and blogger Vitaly Tretyakov wonders why the European Union has entered into a trap from which it will never be able to get out.
"The reasons are many, but they are all based on arrogance and excessive self-confidence. In most cases, feeling more value never expressed out loud, but" Europeans "always feel superior to everyone else in the world."
"It remains to be seen whether the European Union will succumb to pressure from Washington or would prefer to manifest solidarity with the United States, in the decision to speed up the so-called" democratization process "in North Africa and the Middle East. In any case, it is helping to open Pandora's box. It is a vast territory in the maelstrom of civil wars and armed chaos, and millions of refugees were forced to flee, "says Tretyakov.
