Now, I don't know about you, but I, a father already, if I had 5 kids, five of them, and they were to be all gone within 10 minutes, dead, not on vacation; not the victims of an accident, but killed by your own wife, the way she killed these children, I certainly wouldn't be on TV the next day DEFENDING the scum bag on national television, trying to convince people that we already know why she did it, because she had the Post Partum Depression Psychosis. I mean, CNN already had an expert within minutes of the coverage to tell us what this illness was all about.

Mr. Yates is either in massive denial here, or he didn't love these children (telling tales about the relationship between the mother and the children in a press conference(?) 24 hours after the murders with no apparent emotion), or something else happened here that he knows about when he stated that "this wasn't my wife" and that he is not talking about, besides her illness and medication.
But that this guy works for NASA does make me suspicious, very suspicious, especially in this era of rumors about asteroid impacts and approaching planets.
Maybe he really knows that this "wasn't his wife," and that she didn't do this only compelled by her own demons but by other outside influences.
