Dear Rayelan and Friends:
In response to the initial report about Branton posted on your site, I would
like to share this with your readers. Yesterday, I spoke with his mother and
am confident that this is the correct story.
This accident happened a little over a week ago. He was wheeling his bike
across a pedestrian lane, legitimately, and a pickup (4X 4) came around the
corner rather fast and hit
him. They airlifted him to a hospital in the vicinity.
He is still in ICU...was in a coma for two days, but finally coming out of
it. As of yesterday, he knew his name and in what city he was located. He
has also recognized relatives and friends.
He was badly bruised up, no internal injuries, but had his jaw broken, which
had to be operated on and is now wired TOGETHER.
After he is able to be released from the hospital, they will transfer him to
a place where he can receive physical therapy for his injuries. It takes a
lot to keep a good person down for too long and it looks like he is going to
be with us for a new day . . . a new dawn.
Please ask your readers to pray for this courageous warrior, that his healing
may be expeditious and that he is protected by the most divine.
My best,
Carole Fox
