Dear Friends, Patriots and Warriors of Truth:
Who is Bill Gates and which side of the divide is he on? Is he solidly ensconced among the campfires of the New World Order?
Or is he a neutral "player" protecting his "turf," i.e., the colossus named Microsoft, while the financial titans of the New World Order struggle to implement their devilish (or is that Satanic?), plans of conquest and enslavement? Is he truly a humane character, who wants technology to work for all men and for all women, and at a most affordable price? Who really knows?
The following paragraph was lifted from a page posted by the Gibson Research Corporation's principal, Steve Gibson, who has been a leader (among those using the Internet), who desire privacy and freedom from hidden or intrusive "cookies," those browser-tags which can be helpful in identifying a customer for a specific site, or hurtful when they are used to track a user's Internet surfing without their knowledge and consent.
Recently, Gibson's website was hit by Denial of Service attacks, which are more than a nuisance; and here are his comments:
<< It is impossible for an application running under any version of Windows 3.x/95/98/ME or NT to "spoof" its source IP or [to] generate malicious TCP packets such as SYN or ACK floods.
<< As a result, Internet security experts know that non-spoofing Internet attacks are almost certainly being generated by Windows-based PC's. Forging the IP address of an attacking machine (spoofing) is such a trivial thing to do under any of the various UNIX-like operating systems, and it is so effective in hiding the attacking machines, that no hacker would pass up the opportunity if it were available. >>
Gibson states that for reasons unknown, the newest version of Windows will "allow" or enable spoofing! And this at a time when more and more people -- tired of the excuses handed to them by their local telephone service providers about slow connectivity over their copper lines -- are switching to Cable Modems or to DSL Internet Service Providers! It cannot be over-emphasized, here, that persons who have decided to switch their home-based Personal Computers to DSL or Cable Modem connections, are now susceptible to being 'hacked' and used as Zombies for D-o-S attacks by malicious (or just obnoxious) hackers.
<< When those insecure and maliciously potent Windows XP machines are mated to high-bandwidth Internet connections, we are going to experience an escalation of Internet terrorism the likes of which has never been seen before. >>
Here is what Gibson wrote that is really, really chilling to the soul of a liberty-loving Internet user (like yours truly) --
<< If the attacking machines had been running Windows 2000 or the home-targeted version of Windows XP, as they certainly will be next year, we would have been utterly defenseless and simply forced off the Internet. >>
And what was the motive for the D-o-S attack against Gibson Research ??? Apparently, it was the 'hurt feelings' of a young hacker -- perhaps aged only 13 -- who had learned how to create P.C. Zombies by writing and creating "cable-bots," or Trojan cyber-horses that allow him and his "confederates" to access hundreds of different machines and to turn them into Zombies.
More than 400 different machines were used in the D-o-S attack against Gibson Research and about 1/3 of them were connected to Cable Modems via different cable TV & computer-link providers.

The use of the Internet is definitely a federal issue, and quite rightly so: cable television and computer service providers, though, can and do fall partly under muncipal or State laws, as all of our cable television systems began as CATV -- Community Antenna Television systems. Local communities hold the charters that allowed CATV to become profitable. Those communities can and should demand that the giant corporations -- which William Jefferson Clinton allowed to become cable monopolies during his maladministration -- provide pressure on and against Microsoft to re-configure XP to make it like Windows 98 and 98 SE, useless to these malicious "script-kiddies" and hackers.
Read the story via the URL provided below, even if it takes several times to master the computer jargon: we will soon not be able to take our P.C.'s for granted, as being secure machines. The future is clearly now, and if thirteen-year olds in the U.S. and Europe can figure this stuff out, how long until the warlords of China, swollen with the profits of the Bush-Clinton-Bush 'free trade' deals, turn loose upon their own Hong Kong script kiddies?
