RAYELAN, WHY DON'T YOU DO THIS TOO?

I am sending you a message to me that was posted on the Rumor Mill News Forum. I am sending it because I need to come up with a way to make Rumor Mill News support itself and me! If I don't come up with a way, then Rumor Mill News will cease to exist!
I don't think I have sent anything to the mailing list about my work schedule and lack of time for Rumor Mill News. The long and short of it is this:
Rumor Mill News does not bring in enough money to support itself, let alone support me. As a result, I am working a split shift five days a week and will soon be working on weekends too.
I was injured and out of work for two and a half years. The pain was so intense I couldn't sleep most of the time, and out of those sleepless nights came the Rumor Mill News webpage! However, I am no longer injured and no longer on disability.
During the years I was injured, Rumor Mill News became a very popular news webpage. I only have a counter on ONE of my domains, (there are three domains linked together as one) and this counter says that out of the top 1,000 news webpages in the United States, Rumor Mill is number 20! Can you imagine what it will say when I finally get around to putting counters on all three webpages?
It is sad to think that such a popular webpage will have to fold up because it could not generate enough money to keep its publisher from having to work to support it!
As you have noticed, I have very few advertizers. The banner ads bring in about $100.00 a month. This is barely enough to pay the cost of keeping the webpages hosted! And it certainly doesn't leave anything leftover for living expenses.
If I were rich or had a rich patron, I could quit my job and devote 100% to Rumor Mill News, as it is, I am so busy lately that I have NO time to spend on Rumor Mill.
Last week I asked for volunteers to help me keep Rumor Mill going. About 20 people volunteered their time, and an equal number sent donations. I haven't even had the time to make a list of tasks for my volunteers to do.
I did have time to find a volunteer coordinator, or rather... one found me:

I am sending this email to my entire list because I need to know if you think the following idea, that was proposed in an article on the Rumor Mill News Forum titled, "RAYELAN, WHY DON'T YOU DO THIS TOO?", will work for Rumor Mill News?

Once you are reduced to zero, it takes a long time to come back, especially if you aren't working due to an injury.
If you like Rumor Mill News and want to see it survive, then I am going to need some help. If you have time, please volunteer. I assure you, there is something for EVERYONE to do! I am on the mailing list for World Net Daily. Take a look at what I just got from them.
If they can do this, why can't you?
Ask your readers and agents if they would participate in this? If you would remind me once a month to send something, I would do it!!

p.s. I just joined PayPal. Did you get the $5.00 they said they would give you if I joined? Or did they mean I would get the $5.00? I will have to look at that again! Anyway... there is some money waiting for you there. And thank you for keeping Rumor Mill up. I don't know what I would do without it. It's the only place I go for news these days. You and your agents cut through the phony news and get straight to the truth!! ALL THE OTHER newspapers should be called RUMOR MILLS, that's all they put out... government rumors and propaganda. Your Rumor Mill should be called the TRUTH MILL!!
Take a look at what Farah is doing. It is obvious that ALL alternative webpages are thrashing around trying to find a way to keep on going! Maybe he has found the secret of success. Can you assign one of your volunteers to check out what he is doing and then report back? I can't do it, am leaving town again!
