Follow the Taxes

In every Western economy, the creeping virus of taxation and collection agencies such as the IRS have turned a mutual obligation into a nightmare.

In every Western culture, the notion of egalitarian participation has been a strong imperative. With the gradual corruption of ideals by successive political ideologies, this imperative has devolved from the voluntary to the mandatory.

With agencies such as the American IRS and similar counterparts in each Western nation, the one great fear of all citizens is the threat of an audit or attack by these all-powerful collection agencies of corrupted ideologies. For many, this threat results in medical problems and, in some cases, premature death caused by the psychological stress of being under attack.

As the need for more taxes emerges to support the corrupted system, the only response from narrow-minded political spoilsmen is to mandate through legislation even more draconian taxation regimes. Citizens have now been renamed “taxpayers” in most Western economies so as to marginalize their rights. Various tax-collecting authorities are able to justify every action brought against recalcitrant victims when they are designated “taxpayers.” The notion of innocence and natural justice has been scrap-heaped as the mandated legislations have transcended inalienable rights.

Put into perspective, the greatest scourge in the post-modern world is taxation. If any reader should doubt this fact, just ask a family member, neighbor, friend or associate. You will find that the answer to the question, "What do you hate most?" is resoundingly, “TAXATION.” Along with the government and politicians, TAX is the most hated of all modern concepts.

Most Western governments use a carte blanche approach to taxing the masses, without remorse and with impunity. As an example, in Australia just recently, the second largest insurance group went belly up. The government's considered response was to appropriate hundreds of millions of tax dollars from the next budget to prop it up and safeguard the participants. These types of decisions to appropriate tax dollars can exist only in an arrogant and irresponsible regime of control, bordering on dictatorship.

In every Western economy, such reprehensible decisions are everyday practice. The citizens for whom these decisions are made are mere slaves to the political whims of dictators. In the post-modern regime, this is, of course, quite politically correct as socialism has crept into acceptance by the majority of minds among the masses.

For civilization to evolve to a higher plane, something has to occur. That occurrence is not far off as more and more citizens awaken from their lazy slumber through instant communication and the Internet. Will Western governments move with or against this evolution?
