Hmm. Who might you be referring to? Actually, if you look at the phrase "self-righteousness" it is a lot more descriptive of those that preach the new age doctrine of finding God within ones own self.

To say that one is righteous, by their own effort, is the very definition of self-righteousness. If you read my post you might note that I never referred to my own righteousness. Quite the contrary, I stated that I have no righteousness of my own. I stated that I am a sinner and am no "Christ".

You are correct in stating that Christianity is not a religion, it is reality.

Christians live by the word of God. They know that God created all things by His word, and that His word is reality.

The "christianity" you are referring to is not true Christianity. It is not the Christianity to which I myself subscribe.

I do not believe in a works or law based salvation. Trying to attain enlightenment or salvation through one's own works is self-righteousness. It is the religion of the devil.

I do not have enough knowledge about the validity of these writings to either uphold or dismiss them. I would say however that Jesus also said "I am the way, the truth and the Life. No man commeth to the Father but by me." The above writings, if they are truly words spoken by Jesus Christ, must be interpreted in the context of the other words spoken by Jesus.

Do you believe that you sin? Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins? Do you believe that He was THE Christ? Would you agree that you are nothing without Him?

If your answer is NO to any of the above questions, you prove the source of your doctrine. If you answer yes, then you better repent and get right with your Creator. When you repent of your sin, then you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. God himself takes up residence in your heart. Only His perfection residing within you can save you from your own foolish imaginations.
