This quote from the Disclosure Project's Press Conference reminded me of an obscure book by Arthur C. Clarke.

Most readers of Rumor Mill realize that Clark based his 2001 film around inside knowledge that a major breakthrough will happen in 2001. Clark wrote a book many years before he wrote 2001. It is called, "Childhood's End". The book talks about an evolutionary leap in humanity, one that takes place through our children.

In the book, children are born different, and as they get older, they change even more. The children finally join together in one huge chain that goes around the world. Finally, they "morph" into an energy beam and launch themselves, as one unit, into space.

Spiritualists would describe this as a "Group Soul" going home after its lessons were complete. Are we getting ready to graduate? Are we getting ready to leave Childhood behind? If we are, are we sure that we will like what adulthood brings?
