I have said that journalists are not as impartial and honest as people believe and that here in Africa, especially in S.Africa, certain western journalists came with an agenda to smear us, to lie about us and to twist the facts which relate to us. No doubt you all thought I was smoking my socks and just making up lies myself. But if you will watch some of these modern conflicts which are happening before your very eyes, you will see people lying about things. In Lebanon for example, take special note, in all news reports of how many people were killed and then they will always mention the number of children who were killed. Take note of the children... Do you know how many children were really killed? What proof do you have of these? And as you should have seen recently with the Israeli killing of the UN observers - the Hizbullah terrorists were operating directly from civilian and UN positions so that if the Israeli's fire back that they then kill non-combatants. Do you see how these terrorist scum operate? I've said many times that terrorists want innocents killed, and they also lie about who dies and why... they do this because of the PROPAGANDA VALUE of those who died. Those who die are innocent pawns used in a sick game to lay the blame for cruelty at Israel's door. Look at these stories below - about the Lebanese reporters who worked for Reuters who manipulated images. And also at this Norwegian reporter who made up fake interviews loosely based on facts. When I was living in S.Africa in the 1980's, when S.Africa was daily in the news, I heard stories - eyewitness accounts from friends and co-workers who told about how Western reporters from the USA and Europe came here and actively CREATED INCIDENTS so as to smear the whites here. I heard one story where Western journalists would walk around and chuck money into dust bins in the townships and then the little black kids would dive in to grab the cash. The journalists would then put out the story that these little black kids were digging in the rubbish bins for food! I've told the story of the blacks sleeping in Church Square (siesta) in Pretoria who were portrayed by a Western journalist as being the corpses of blacks shot dead by the whites. I also remember being told a story of how journalists incited violence and encouraged violence in the townships so that they would have something to film. Journalists - Western journalists - were responsible for misrepresenting things in Apartheid S.Africa when the news was slow and they weren't getting the violence and racial strife they were hoping for. In Rhodesia, when Rhodesia did cross border raids and wiped out hundreds of terrorists in training camps - the UN - yes the UN, later came and claimed that Rhodesia had attacked women and children. Meanwhile, the real terrorists had been bulldozed into mass graves and they had shipped in women and children who were there when the UN arrived. And so they contrived the lie that we had attacked "refugee camps". These are the lies from Africa which the Western journalists and the UN told about what happened here. Make no mistake that similar lies are being told about Israel. And whenever you hear about the children who were killed... you're just hearing a special form of propaganda intended to tug at people's heart strings and which is intended to make women lose their minds. But these terrorists are heartless. They don't care for human life and they WANT civilians to be killed for their propaganda value. So don't be so ready to listen to everything printed in the media about these wars. In my personal opinion, some of these journalists are nothing but agents of the enemy and their twisted reporting is a part of the game of war. I have said in the past that many lies have been told about whites in Africa, most especially about the white people of South Africa. I hope that these examples of outright fakery and lies in 2006, will make people think back to the kinds of lies which were pulled off 20 and 40 years ago about us whites when we did not have the internet or ways of getting the Western Mass media to present evidence which could prove our innocence. The Western Mass Media had much to say about us, but it was all one sided. Lies were told about us - not for one month or one year - but incessantly for DECADES. I think there is no group of people on this planet about whom more lies have been told than us. We were misrepresented, our actions twisted, and blatant lies invented about us. But perhaps there is still hope that in time our names will be cleared and when people will realise who the true victims were. I like this terrorism and all these wars. I like this because now people in the USA and Europe who have sat around comfortably, feeling distant from war, will begin to realise just the kinds of scumbags the enemies of the West really are and how much they rely on trickery, deceit and the grossest lies. Maybe, bit by bit, people elsewhere will begin to realise what a handful of millions of us in Africa faced. Reuters pledges 'tighter editing procedure for images of the Middle East conflict' Reuters has withdrawn a second photograph and admitted that the image was doctored, following the emergence of new suspicions against images provided by the news organization. On Sunday, Reuters admitted that one of its photographers, Adnan Hajj, used software to distort an image of smoke billowing from buildings in Beirut in order to create the effect of more smoke and damage. The latest image to face doubts is a photograph of an Israeli F-16 fighter jet over the skies of Lebanon, seen in the image firing off "missiles during an air strike on Nabatiyeh," according to the image's accompanying text provided by Reuters. Reuters has recalled all photos by Adnan Hajj The owner of the My Pet Jawa web log noted that the warplane in the picture is actually firing defensive flares aimed at dealing with anti-aircraft missiles. However, a close up (of) what Hajj calls "missiles" reveals that only one flare has been dropped. The other two "flares" are simply copies of the original," Shackleford wrote. "But what about the 'bombs' in the photo? Here is a close up of them. Notice anything? That's right. The top and bottom "bomb" are the same." Another manipuated Reuters image Following the accusations, Reuters conceded that a second image it provided had been manipulated, and released a statement saying it had recalled all photos by Hajj. "Reuters has withdrawn from its database all photographs taken by Beirut-based freelance Adnan Hajj after establishing that he had altered two images since the start of the conflict between Israel and the Lebanese Hizbullah group," the statement said. The news outlet said that it discovered "in the last 24 hours that he (Hajj) altered two photographs since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and the Lebanese group Hizbullah," Reuters added. "There is no graver breach of Reuters standards for our photographers than the deliberate manipulation of an image", Reuters' statement quoted Tom Szlukovenyi, Reuters Global Picture Editor, as saying. 'Tighter editing needed' Reuters also said it would apply "tighter editing procedure for images of the Middle East conflict to ensure that no photograph from the region would be transmitted to subscribers without review by the most senior editor on the Reuters Global Pictures Desk." "Reuters terminated its relationship with Hajj on Sunday... An immediate enquiry began into Hajj's other work," the statement said. Hajj had provided Reuters with several images from the Lebanese village of Qana, many of which have also been suspected of being staged. Other Reuters images have been called into question by blogs in the United States. A reader of the Power Line blog, Robert Opalecky, wrote: "I don't know if this has been brought to anyone's attention yet, but in a quick search of the authenticated Reuters photographs attributed to Adnan Hajj, I found the following two." The first Reuters image of July 24 "One is from July 24 of a bombed out area in Beirut, with a clearly identifiable building in a prominent part of the shot. The second is of the exact same area, same buildings, same condition, with a woman walking past "a building flattened during an overnight Israeli air raid on Beirut's suburbs August 5, 2006," he wrote. Reuters' second 'Beirut attack' photo, dated August 5 A film released on the YouTube video sharing website compares the two images, and appears to show striking similarities between the photograph used by Reuters on both July 24 and August 5. Norway Reporter Admits Faking Interviews Aug 07 1:42 PM US/Eastern OSLO, Norway A Norwegian journalist has admitted he fabricated interviews with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and talk show host Oprah Winfrey, media reports said Monday. Freelance writer Bjoern Benkow said in a statement that the interviews, published in Norwegian and Swedish media, were partially concocted because of financial "desperation," newspaper Verdens Gang reported. "I have met and talked to these global celebrities," Benkow was quoted as saying. "But the circumstances and times have not always been as I described." The acknowledgment came after Microsoft Norway said last week that an interview with Gates, printed in the Norwegian magazine Mann and top- selling Swedish tabloid daily Aftonbladet, was "totally fake." Benkow claimed he spoke to Gates during a two-hour commercial flight in Europe, but Microsoft Corp. officials said Gates had not been on that plane. In the four-page interview entitled "Big Bill," Gates was quoted as saying in the article that he never carries more than a "dime" in his pocket and that he makes $1 bets with his wife. Benkow maintained that the quotes used in the article were real, but apologized for lying about when he spoke to Gates. "What I did was done out of desperation," VG quoted Benkow as saying. "To pay the rent, electricity, food and to survive." The editors of Mann apologized for the article last week. Aftonbladet spokesman Olof Brundin initially said the paper was convinced the interview had occurred. On Monday, however, the newspaper published an article calling Benkow a "fraudster" who had deceived the editors. "We have been fooled, and thereby we fooled our readers," Brundin said, adding that the newspaper was considering suing Benkow. Aftonbladet also published Benkow's alleged interview with Winfrey earlier this year, but on Monday the article had been removed from the newspaper's Web site. Source: Drudge Report
