I thought this may be of interest to those that visit your site. A great (if short) expose on how little changes in ten years from a media perspective.

Yesterday (Wednesday 2nd May, 2001) author/lecturer David Icke was invited to appear upon the BBC Radio 2 `Steve Wright Show' to speak briefly with regard to his views on a reptilian/shape-shifting/alien ruling elite being in control of the worlds governments and their strangle-hold on our collective political/social & economic destiny, all of which are to be broadcast in further depth on a Channel 4 television documentary on Sunday 6th May, 2001 entitled `The Secret Rulers of the World: David Icke, the Lizards and the Jews'.

This interview was a classic example of the current media bias toward anyone with an alternative view to the `why's and wherefores' of the status quo (in all it's forms), and a perfect illustration as to why all open-minded persons need to support authors/lecturers/researchers like David Icke who seek to publicly expound their findings during these crass mass media manipulated times (even if we do not fully accept their take on subjects). I believe this interview also highlights the ways in which possibly unknowing(?) journalists seek to unwittingly(?) dupe the population through a typical tongue in cheek/ridiculing interview style endemic throughout the mainstream broadcast and print media. Never overtly hostile as to give their `guest' (read `fool') credence, more humorous thus to trvialise any topic discussed no matter how meticulously researched and presented.

Rather ironically I feel, it is also the 10th anniversary of David `coming out' with his unorthodox views and theories in a blaze of derisory publicity via the UK media in April 1991 (at the time of the first published editon of his work `The Truth Vibrations'). Here David suffered public humiliation (read: emancipation) on a primetime BBC TV chat show (the Wogan Show - hosted by Irish BBC One presenter & BBC Radio Two DJ/celebrity Terry Wogan). The questions asked by Mr. Wogan were repeated in verbatim by Mr. Wright albeit some ten years later, thus going some way in proving that the `dinosaur' of public broadcasting we affectionatley call `Aunty Beeb' has an advanced case of senile dementia (to highlight but one prognosis).
