I feel that if an entity has a financial interest in something, then that entity will find it difficult to mantain objectivity
in relation to that something.

This view is shared by many in the world; often when a Govt. minister, say the communications minister, has an interest in a related business, say a telecommunications provider, he/she will remove themselves(or be removed by the PM/Prez) to avoid what they term as "the appearence of conflict of interest".

Therefore, those that have a financial interest in something should refrain from commenting on it, if only to avoid the aforesaid "appearence of conflict of interest" which gives dissenters any easy rebuttal to anything they have said.
