U.S. GOING BACK TO THE PHILIPPINES?
Several weeks ago, a friend called and said her son just rented a house in the Phippines to take his family on vacation. I remarked that it was odd to rent a house in the Philippines to have a vacation. She then said he worked for the government and had been sent over to "assess" the situation.
Shortly after she told me this, I received an email from another friend who shared an email with me. The email stated that the United States was getting ready to go back into the Philippines.
Now, it appears to be official, the Bush Administration is looking into going back to the Philippines.
Does this mean we are gearing up for a war? And if so, will we be protecting Taiwan, or is there something else being planned.
My bet for war in that area would be KOREA! The starving North Koreans will invade South Korea! In 1996, RMNews published an article titled The Korean War Part Two. I will post it as soon as I get it scanned.

U.S. Back to the Philippines?
The American Daily has confirmed reports that the Bush Administration has undertaken preliminary assessments on a return of American presence in the Philippines. In particular, Clark Air Force Base.
Problems with U.S. presence in Japan (Okinawa) and recent Communist Chinese adventures in the South China Sea appear to have necessitated some alterations of American forward deployment.
Philippine President Ms. Arroyo has her own problems with communist insurgents and a more conciliatory perception of American presence in the Asia.
Is the U.S. leaving Okinawa and setting up shop once again in the Philippines? If it is Clark AFB now, Subic Bay can't be far behind.
