Last week I briefly got in on the first skirmish to point out that somebody (I forget who, and now so many players have been drawn into this little melodrama it's hard to keep track) had perhaps misunderstood Esclarmonde's posting re David Icke. Today I scrolled down the Agents' Index and saw what must represent several hundred kilobytes of Rayelan's website taken up by the same, go-nowhere blather. Now it has opened into a flame war.

Hmmm.... Interesting.

I have neither the time nor inclination to analyze each post,or the direction of the whole string. But that might be a worthwhile pursuit for someone who wants to boost his/her "intelligence" skills. Honi soit qui mal y pense.

As for Mr. Icke: If the Royal Family are indeed satanic, shapeshifting lizards, they have been so for centuries, and would not require the services of an Arizona Wilder to direct their rituals. But this observation is insufficient grounds for me to write off all of what Icke has to say. People with real revelations about how our civilization works tend to draw the attention of skilled disinfo artists who feed them stuff tailored to their palate, that they may be discredited for airing it.

I trust all of us here know that. And it should be obvious to all of us that it's as ridiculous to roundly condemn somebody like David Icke as it is to defend him wholesale. That point would have settled the matter after an exchange of postings or two. But that doesn't seem to be happening here, does it?

I wonder why. I also wonder why I feel like I've been sucked into a John Le Carre spy novel, full of layers of clues, but so far with no clear picture of what's really going on. Does anybody else feel like that?
