As most of the Agents on this forum are aware there have been a number of legal threats made against individuals and against Rayelan Allan of recent. Rayelan herself has posted if any of these threats are put into action the RumorMill News site may go down and it could spell the end of Rumormill News. We as contributors and recipients of her vital work can not let this happen.

Most of you may not realise who I am but my name is Tim and I have been a moderator for all Rayelan's mailing lists now for nearly two years. I am the one who cuts and pastes all the posts from the Forum message board and puts them out to the mailing list.

I have proposed an idea to help save Rumormills and Rayelan has gratefully agreed. What I have proposed is to take out a mirror site and create an Australian copy of Rumormill News.

I have been working with both Rayelan and my ISP to set this project up and have offered to do it at my own expense. However I did not realise the government red tape that would be involved.
All the other Aussies on this forum can confirm our government seems to thrive on bureaucratic red tape.

This red tape includes having to take out a state governmnet registered business name in order for me to register Rumormillnews as a domain name in Australia. Then there is also the cost of hosting the site - which has been offered to me at a great discount. In all to do this project it is going to cost somewhere between $5-600.00AUD. This does not include the costs of a solicitor (lawyer) to set up a legal indemnity to protect Rayelan, myself and Rumormills against law suits.

Consequently these costs have blown out to be much more then I am able to handle on my own, so Rayelan has given me permission to ask the following. If there are agents on this forum that would be interested in contributing to the costs of helping me set up this mirror site, and thus helping to save Rumormills, then It would be greatly appreciated.

As Rayelan wrote the current wave of attack on Rumormills is three pronged and it is only just beginning, so we truly do need your help. The amount of any contribution is irrelevant what is important is that we keep Raye's work going, so any
contribution no matter how small will help.
