Like all great mythic sagas these great stories have so many levels and interpretations that volumes could be written (and are) about each.
On one level they are stories of spiritual initiation. Both are about the loss of innocence and the awakening of consciousness. In the process both Harry and his friends, and Dorothy and her traveling companions, learn to find their personal internal God-given creative powers. Both young protagonists are exceptionally courageous and find even more courage and personal power as they move through their initiation trials.
They are cute, but powerful models for Everyman.
Thus it is very interesting to see who objects so vociferously to these stories and why. The fundamentalists seem terrified of Harry Potter, condemning and banning the HP books. I find this rather ironic since Harry's story is all about the age-old battle of good and evil, which is a favorite theme of the fundamentalist Christians!
In the HP books I also see a lot of references to the nwo, just as we can see in Oz. In both stories the apparent "power" figures (Oz, the Wicked Witch, and Voldemort and his minions) SEEM very real and threatening, but when they are courageously challenged by the 'little guys", they are literally unmasked and found to be all "bluff".
Doesn't that tell us something loud and clear about the dark ones who try to rule US? Are we not challenged by Harry and Dorothy also to take courage and stand up to those who SEEM so powerful because they are good at intimidating (scaring) us?
Harry is sent to wizard's school to learn to intellectualize and control his innate abilities. Dorothy is told to "follow the yellow brick road" which symbolizes the path of mind(fulness) and intellect (third chakra). There is also the option of a "red brick road" (root chakra: animal instincts/survival) which she does not take. Her ruby slippers protect her on the survival level and her intellect (awakening) increases as she progresses on the yellow brick road.
"Over the rainbow" to me symbolizes the rising of the Kundalini energy through the chakras into and over the crown (God connection). If the Illuminati have distorted these stories to their sick purposes, that is their (not very pretty) karma!
I've always wondered why Harry Potter and all Rowling's males are called "wizards" instead of warlocks or witches. (The females at Hogwarts are called witches.) Is it because a wizard is a magician or sorcerer who is also very WISE? Harry does seem to possess wisdom beyond his years....
One could go on endlessly about the incredible symbolism in these wonderful stories. Such is the way with sagas of initiation---those from ancient times, in Biblical stories, in Egyptian, Hindu, Greek and Roman mythology, right up to the present times.
ILLUMINATI DISTORTION OF ESOTERIC/OCCULT SYMBOLS:
EVERYONE PLEASE BE AWARE of how these empowering mythic stories have been co-opted, distorted and discredited by Illuminati and their ilk through the centuries. Via infiltration and nefarious distortions they have managed to co-opt and systematically degrade everything spiritual and creative from the Templars/Freemasons to the R.C. Church to Disneyworld! WHY? Because anything that might uplift the human spirit had to be dirtied and denigrated. DON'T FALL FOR IT! It's a transparent game that WE don't have to play.
I remember the first visit of a very advanced teacher/healer whom I sponsored some years ago. She was a de-programmed Monarch girl, and she freaked out when she first saw all the esoteric symbols in my meeting room, immediately thinking them "Satanic". I reminded her that "we" had all those spiritual symbols long BEFORE they got corrupted, and she immediately understood and relaxed.
Bottom line is: if anything is fear-inducing, or is disempowering of your soul or your own human spirit, or if it tends to put the Creator "out there" away from you, MISTRUST IT! Such messages are truly from the dark side and attempt to drain your God-given life force. "Evil" is not the reverse of "live" without good reason...
