My argument is with the 'blanket' use of the word 'occult' to mean 'all that is bad'. Usually, some in the Christian community use it to show derision towards something they fear instead of trying to understand it, and thus my post.

As you probably know, occult means 'hidden'. Specifically, we use it to mean, 'hidden in the mind'. It might be said that the word 'occult' is an icon for the Power of the Mind of which we are ignorant. We all have it, nonetheless.

Those who are using psychological torture are attempting to 'force' this power out of Mind and put it under their control. This is, of course, what the Manchurian Candidate is all about. They are surely using hidden knowledge...at least hidden from the rest of us. So one could say it is 'occult'.

When those that do this attach the word occult to something so negative, however, they are in affect, making sure that others will never go towards the Power of the Mind on their own. They are turning all manner of the power which is hidden within them (the occult) into something they must fear. And thus, the Bad Guys get to be the ONLY ones who have the power. In fact, they have made pretty sure of this by destroying all groups who in any way might have a chance at succeeding in 'giving' this info to the masses. The total destruction of the once proud Native American and the forbidding of the Ghost Dance; the absolute persecution of Scientology in an attempt to discredit and destroy its ability to pass the information out which they have always done quite freely. (No, I am not a Scientologist, but I have read Dianetics and it is a useful and powerful tool to uncovering one's own Power of Mind.) When Casteneda started writing about don Juan Mateus and the Yaqui way of life, there were Universities that funded projects to discredit him. My Gosh! What would happen if people learned how to control the Power of Intent, after all?

Here is the problem: Our ONLY defense against those that use it for evil, is to learn how, what and where it is inside of us so that we can use it constructively to re-create existence. For instance, there are many Shaman right now working to bring water to the Northwest even as the chemtrails and flash radar attempt to dry us out. They are certainly using the 'hidden' or 'occult' knowledge in the most beautiful of ways. It is likely that many such feats of 'magic' (occult to the rest of us that don't know how) are going on all over the world. But how can any of us not take responsibility for developing this occult (hidden) knowledge within our Selves so that we can begin to take an active part in Healing our Planet and our Selves? Are we going to let someone else do it for us, forever?

The fact is, the only way out of this 'mess' in which we see ourselves is for a majority of us to finally and at last REALIZE Who we are. And we can only do that by turning our Attention onto our Own Thinking Processes and unearthing the 'occult', ie., hidden knowledge in our own Minds; learning how they work first hand (from the inside...not from books) and then learning how to turn it on and off at will (Intent) so that NO ONE else can ever control us again.

It is sad that we cannot even conceive ourselves as being without Government to tell us what to do, we have been so beaten down. And yet inside of each of us is ALL the power of the Universe. We were born with full realization of our own godhood. The error came when we began to learn language. Our Society covered our Minds with so many layers of filters (mind control) in the form of religions, social orders, and governments that it is a wonder that we manage to get out from under even a few of them during our lifetime. And the first filter usually put on mind was that we were powerless and would have to let someone else tell us what and how to live.

...now you know why the use of that word in such a negative manner is so bothersome: It is playing into THEIR hands...those who would keep us ignorant of our magnificent selves. I think it is time we ALL went in and discovered the Occult (hidden) knowledge that lies within! Then if a CIA Agent attempts to tie us up and torture us, we simply 'zap' him out of existence!

P.S. Let's put it this way, the Occult Power of Mind when fully practiced is the 'gun' they CAN'T take away and they cannot regulate. Indeed, it makes Government Itself obsolete...And thus it is absolutely imperative to the Powermongers that we fear The Occult! AND Just as Important to Our Selves that WE Do NOT!
