TIDAL PREDICTIONS OFF --- PERHAPS DUE TO "PLANET X" ???

Posted By: Questionnairy

The following information received from Ken via e-mail on the weird weather prognostications as apparently derived by the "weather experts" in conjunction with their duties.

Could these wild guesses by disturbed by the proximity of PLANET X ???

NAH --- THAT'S JUST ME BLABBING --- RIGHT ???

Subject: FW: 2005 Tide Predictions, Hempstead Bay, Bellmore, Bellmore Creek

I had an unusual chance today to verify the "tidal predictions" as provided by NOOA.

There was no wind, full moon is tomorrow, and I think I got the high tide within 5 minutes.

Their predictions are "off by an hour and 45 minutes", and by 2-3 feet of tidal range.

High tide in Bellmore Creek was at 7:25 PM, not 9:10 PM,

And was at least 5.0 feet at low tide, not the 2.5 feet as predicted.

This is not really news as their predictions have been really bad for at least a year, but then these "moon problems" have been going on for quite a while.

I have previously told you that if the moon observations as
reported by others were correct, then there had to be tidal changes of a significant magnitude.

The lack of those reported changes (with one exception) caused me to doubt the veracity of the claimed moon variations.

This is an additional data point from:
40^, 38' 59.90" N, by 73^,31' 3. 56" W.

Thanks Ken, for the data from your observations. which show you are an astute observer.

I too, have been vitally interested in the tides and wave and swell heights reported in advance by the weather experts here in the area of Monterey Bay, which seem also to be "out of whack".

Only yesterday evening, we were supposed to have winds from 15 to 25 mph,(according to the so-called weather experts) while we enjoyed almost no wind at all at the outdoor party next door.
In fact there there was hardly a leaf moving.

Please don't misunderstand, tho' --- I sincerely like good weather as we here in central California do get pretty spoiled,
don't we, Rayelan ???
